Draw your Spirit Guides

Would you like to explore your spirit guides? Often we have a fascination or attraction to a particular culture or historical period, animal totems, angels……
If you feel like a soulful and creative experience you will enjoy this class. in two parts.
Beginning with a guided meditation to drop deeper into yourself and go on a inner journey, sensing, finding, seeing , feeling a sense of spiritual energy coming through in the form of guides, ascended masters, angels, ancestral connections , sacred patterning, symbols, light language…keeping an open mind to what presents itself. It may not be what you expected and just allowing yourself to imagine is part of the fun and mystery.
Beginners who have never drawn, dont be put off you will be amazed what you can do, once you get started in this this easy-going and supportive environment.
And no prior meditation experience required.
This 2.5 hour class includes guided meditation ,drawing instructions with all art materials with a bonus frame included in ticket price to hang your work.

This class is suitable for all levels and ages 14 up.
You can also bring inspiration, photos or any other images you have that you would like to work on in the class if you already have a sense of the guides/ancestors etc you would like to capture. Please bring any inspiration with you that you may like as reference.
The class is conducted sitting down on tables with table easels, we will be drawing on coloured A3 paper in pastels, colored pencils. There is room for 1 stand up easel if you prefer to draw standing. please reserve this option when booking.
There will be instructions to get you started on your portrait with composition, assistance with drawing with pastels, blending and getting effects on coloured paper.
You may do several drawings during this process.
At the end of the class we look at each others work and look deeper into our stories, characters and symbiology that arises.
The class is led by Artist , Designer & Yoga teacher Sara Thorn in her boutique studio in Maleny.
Maleny around 1 hour from Brisbane , 20 minutes from Sunshine Coast and is a beautiful day trip to have coffee, lunch before art class and be in the fresh air and mountains.
